Mohali Church Association Organizes Independence Day Celebration
Mohali, August 15, 2026: The Mohali Church Association organized a special Independence Day celebration with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Church leaders and members of the Christian community participated in the programme and reaffirmed their commitment to unity, peace, brotherhood and the progress of the nation.
The programme was graced by Ms. Prabhjot Kaur Ji, Chairperson, Planning Board, SAS Nagar, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Akash Jacob, District Chairman, Christian Welfare Board, SAS Nagar, attended the programme as the Guest of Honour.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Prabhjot Kaur Ji, and Guest of Honour, Mr. Akash Jacob Ji, extended their warm Independence Day greetings to everyone and emphasized the importance of unity, peace, brotherhood and social harmony.
Rev. Anil S. Roy Ji, Chairman, and Rev. Shiju Philp Ji, President, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and all the distinguished guests and participants.
The programme was also attended by Rev. Reji K. George Ji, Advisor; Rev. Richard Daniel Ji, Secretary; and Rev. Raju Chakoo Ji, Vice-Chairman, who actively participated in the celebrations.
During the programme, the sacrifices of the great freedom fighters were remembered, and everyone pledged to work together for the peace, prosperity and development of the nation.
The office bearers of the Mohali Church Association expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Prabhjot Kaur Ji and Mr. Akash Jacob Ji for gracing the occasion with their presence.
The celebration concluded with a message of unity, peace and patriotism.
