7 out of 10 Raj Sabha MPs of AAP joined BJP, no one will have to leave the membership of Parliament… Understand why
All 10 states of AAP are members of parliament. Out of which 7 members have left themselves and taken over BJP. If a member of parliament leaves the party before the start of his term, his membership of parliament is also revoked. But here ATI deflection will not be done according to law.
Anti deflection law states that if 2/3 of the total members of a party leave the party and join another party then their membership will be saved i.e. they will remain members of parliament. Two-thirds of the 10 is around 6.67 and Raghav Chadha said he has seven Raj Sabha members with him who are going to BJP. He is a member of the Raj Sabha.
